President Pervez Musharraf on Saturday appointed Justice Ghulam Dastagir Shahani of the Sindh High Court (SHC) and Justice Jehan Zaib Rahim of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) as members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) with immediate effect.
The President, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 218 (2) (b) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has made their appointments, says a notification issued here by Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
