Blast kills security guard in Peshawar

A security guard was killed when bomb exploded near a video shop in the outskirts of Peshawar early Sunday, police said. Security guard Sherzada was asleep when the device planted adjacent to the video shop was detonated by some unknown outlaws. No group claimed responsibility of the attack at Sheikh Muhammadi locality.
Unidentified people targeted music video shops across the North West Frontier Province, the attacks are blamed on militants. Owners of music CD shops in some areas say that they have received threatening letters from unidentified persons, asking them to close down the business. The owners have hired the services of private security guards in view of the threats.
