The Docks police have arrested Noor Alam alias Nooria, said to be a notorious bandit and drug peddler in a raid near railway track in Muhammadi Machhar colony.
The police claimed to have recovered a TT pistol, a magazine along with six cartridges and one kg hashish. The police said that accused is iinvolved in street crimes like snatching mobile phones and cash at gunpoint and had been arrested and jailed earlier. Accused Noor Alam was arrested when he had come for transaction of narcotics.
