The newly elected President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ijaz Abbasi addressing to Annual General Meeting of the business community stated that he would do his best for the welfare of the business community because they considered the welfare of the business community as prayer.
He also said that they believed the duties of the business community due to present situation of the country were most important. They would raise their voice at every stage for business community and also would do joint efforts for the establishment of new industrial estate and getting plots for business community in the sector of I-17. The construction of Export Display Centre of Islamabad Chamber has also been started.
This Display Centre will prove helpful for promoting business activities in Islamabad, which will be shared by all business community without any discrimination. They also appreciated the efforts made by outgoing President Mr Nasir Khan for promoting the image of the ICCI among the business community and with their efforts last years, 5 delegations of ICCI was sent abroad and also Hajj mission was sent. Mr Nasir Khan has retired after successful completion of his tenure. He also appreciated the services of SVP Jamal Abdul Nasir and Vice President Mr Mohammad Hussain.
The Chairman Founder Group Munawar Mughal also appreciated the services of the Group. He said the Group would use its utmost efforts to solve the problems of the business community. He hoped the newly elected President Muhammad Ijaz Abbasi, Senior Vice President Munawar Iqbal and Vice President Chaudhry Abdul Ghaffar would do their duties to the entire satisfaction of the business community. He added that ICCI would not allow any department to neglect the affairs of the community. He stressed the youth to come forward for the interests of business community.
The newly elected Executive Committee Members were congratulated by Zubair Malik, Khalid Javaid, Mian Akram Farid, Mian Shoukat Masud, Malik Sohail Hussain, Ajmal Baluch, Shahid Zaman Shinwar and large number of business community attended the meeting.
