World Hussainiya conference to be held on January 12

A meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Markazi Imam Hussain Council held on Sunday, was told that all the arrangements have been finalised to hold World Hussainiya Conference on January 12.
The meeting was held at the Makhdoom House while it was presided over by Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi, Chairman Imam Hussain Council. The meeting was told that opening session of the World Hussainiya conference would be held at National Library while closing session would be held at Kashmir House.
The meeting was told that theme of the conference would be " Aali Maqam Hazrat Imam Hussain, a great leader for human being ".
It was told that arrangements are being finalised to hold the conference while delegations from eleven countries and 1000 Ulema and Mashaikh belonging to different school of thought would participate.
Organiser of the conference told that the moot would be helpful to promote harmony during Moharram-ul-Haram. Scholars from Sikh, Christian, Hindu and Budh religions would also pay homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain in the conference.
Chairman of the conference said that the basic purpose to hold the conference was to create harmony among different faiths and sects. He further said that it was good that different religions are united before starting of Moharram-ul-Haram.
