Country's stability exists in democracy: PML-N

09 Jan, 2008

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)'s central finance secretary Muhammad Pervaiz Malik has said that the country's survival exists in democracy and present instability is due to lack of democratic institution. Addressing a party function here on Tuesday, Malik said Nawaz Sharif was waging a just struggle for the stability of Pakistan, which is appreciable.
He alleged that President Pervez Musharraf would not institutionalise democracy in the country, as he considers it danger for his power. The public was deprived of necessities while those responsible were clamouring for the prosperity, he added. He added that the rulers were hoodwinking the masses and now people could get rid of dictatorship by casting votes in favour of PML-N.
