09 Jan, 2008

Cold weather would continue to persist for two to three days more, and once the south-westerly winds take over from the north-easterly winds, there would be some increase in the atmospheric temperature, said Karachi Met Office on Tuesday.
The Met Office said that the cold wave would not persist for long. Once the sea breeze begins to blow within two to three days, the temperature would come down. The minimum temperature 16.5 Celsius recorded on Tuesday would not go down any further, met office said. The Met Office said that rains were expected on Tuesday night, but the sky would be clear from Wednesday. The Met Office forecast clear weather onwards.
