India's oilmeal exports grew 8 percent in December to 676,452 tonnes, compared with 626,675 tonnes in the same month in 2006, mainly on higher soymeal and groundnut meal exports, a leading trade body said on Tuesday.
"The overall export of oilmeals for the period April to December 2007 is reported at 2.97 million tonnes compared with 3.18 million tonnes, down by 7 percent ...," the Solvent Extractors' Association of India said in a statement.
