Over 1,000 Ulema to participate in Hussainya moot

More than 1000 Ulema and Mashaikh from all schools of thought would participate in the annual Hussainiya Conference, which would start from January 12 at National Library. This was told to a meeting of Hazrat Imam Hussain Counil, chaired by, Pir Muhammad Naqibur Rehman, Sajjada Nashin Eidgah Sharif.
The meeting was told that custodians of the shrine of Hazrat Imam Hussain, Karbala, Sajjada Nashin Hazrat Ghaus-e-Azam Baghdad Sharif, Hazrat Khawaja Ajmeer Sharif, Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Hazrat Shah Gardez, Hazrat Ghaus Bahauddin Zakriya, Hazrat Bibi Pak Daman, Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh,
Hazrat Shah Shams, Hazrat Syed Jalaluddin Bokhari, Hazrat Ghulam Farid, Pir Sahib of Manki Sharif, Pir Sahib of Zakori Sharif, custodian of shrine Hazrat Shah Hamdan and delegates from USA, UK, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Burma, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Iraq and Uzbekistan and Sajjada Nashins of hundred more prominent shrines would also participate.
Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi, Chairman Markazi Imam Hussain Council told the meeting that this conference is being arranged from the last 29 years and basic purpose of this conference is to create an atmosphere of brotherhood and tranquillity before Moharramul Haram. He further stated that Ulema and Mashaikh would discuss various measures to counter terrorism and sectarianism in the Islamic Ummah and particularly in Pakistan.
