Lawyers staged a rally on Mall Road on Thursday against the dismissal of judges. They also attended a meeting before their rally to condemn the judges' detention and bar members' arrest. Political workers, students and human rights organisations and civil society members also joined the protest.
The Save Judiciary Committee will set up a hunger-strike camp at the bar premises.
