Atta shortage: authorities told to take relief measures

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has, while taking strict notice of atta and electricity crisis in the province, directed the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to provide relief to people in this regard. He said it was because of inefficiency of concerned people that atta is not being made available in some areas.
He appreciated the administration of Hyderabad where, he noted, the situation in this regard remained somewhat better. The governor cautioned that strict action will be taken if immediate steps were not taken for improvement of situation in the affected areas.
He specially called for ensuring action against profiteers, hoarders and other people linked to the cartel. He described frequent interruption in power supply as without any reason and attributed it to inefficiency and said that complaints in this regard during these months is regrettable and intolerable.
