Major brokers and investors offloaded their positions on the last working day of the week at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where cautious investors remained at the sidelines to avoid heavy losses amid decrease in index.
ISE-10 Index was down by 32.64 points from 2,942.50 to 2,909.86 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,659,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,640,900 shares. Total 136 companies were quoted on the ready-board. Majority of stocks (94) landed in negative column, (40) closed in positive territory, whereas two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of Bosicor Pakistan was 1,362,000 shares. The volume of Javed Omer Vohra was 190,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 379,700 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities was 162,700 shares.
