PML-Q to win elections on its performance: Elahi

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) Punjab president and former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said his party carried out record development projects in the last five years and people will vote for them on the basis of their performance.
Pervaiz who is a candidate for national assembly seat NA 187 Yazman, said only PML-Q could safeguard national interests. He was witnessed addressing public meetings in Yazman, Dera Bakha and Tail Wala on Saturday.
Pervaiz Elahi said the PML-Q government spent record funds amounting to Rs 177 billion on the progress and development of south Punjab. The previous regimes did not spend more than Rs 37 billion in south Punjab and neglected the region, he added.
Pervaiz Elahi called the performance of PML-Q government better than the previous ones and said the PML-Q and its allies are bound to win the upcoming general elections on the basis of their landmark achievements. He also vowed that PML-Q would construct new dams after coming into power.
