Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Syed Afzal Haider visited Kot Lakh Pat Jail in Lahore on Saturday. His visit came following a string of complaints from inmates about delays in hearing and processing of their appeals, especially those whose have been pending for five to six years.

He then visited the prison's hospital, dispensary and kitchen and checked the record and statistics of the prisoners.
