'Fair polls not possible under Musharraf regime'

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Punjab vice-president and candidate for PP-149 Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, advocate, has said that PML-N would never compromise on principles and continue its efforts for restoration of true democracy in the country.
While addressing a public meeting in Gulshan Ravi in connection with his election campaign on Monday, he said that holding of free and fair elections are not possible in the presence of Pervez Musharraf.
Criticising the government he said that the government is carrying operation against innocent people in the tribal areas just to please foreigners. Meanwhile, he lauded the struggle of lawyers, media men, political activists and members of civil society against one-man rule and restoration of true democracy in Pakistan.
