The mountainous areas of the country still continue to receive rain and snowfall. While the work for clearing several link roads, which had been blocked by snowfall and land sliding, is also in progress, a private news channel reported.
The weather in Peshawar and adjoining areas remained dry, but they were expected to receive light rain in the next 36 hours, Met Department forecasts. The sequence of snowfall in the district Mansehra's upper areas, Kaghan and Naran valleys for the 10th day continued unabated, while scores of marooned families have shifted from these areas.
