Tehsil Nazim Ghulam Raza Khohawar has said that all religious sects and schools of thoughts teach unity, tolerance and peace, and these values should especially be upheld in the holy month of Muharram.
Addressing a Peace Committee's meeting, he said that Bhakkar district had always remained peaceful in the past, and must remain a role model for other districts, especially in these critical times when national security was a priority. He said law enforcement departments had been put on alert, but every one concerned - police, public representatives, members of peace committees, Majalis organisers and volunteers should ensure that every participant of a 'Majlis' was checked.
Tehsil Nazim urged people to be wary of strangers.
