Shabbir Ahmad Shah joins APHC

In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference received yet another fillip on Monday with one more prominent Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah announcing to join the APHC. The announcement was made at a gathering held at Mazar-e-Shuhada in Occupied Srinagar.
The APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also addressed the gathering. Another prominent Hurriyat leader, Shaikh Abdul Aziz has already announced joining the APHC, KMS reported.
Earlier, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, along with Shabbir Ahmad Shah, drove in a motorcade to Mazar-e-Shuhada where they offered prayers for veteran Kashmiri leaders, Mirwaiz Maulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone and other martyrs.
Later, addressing at APHC headquarters at Rajbagh in Occupied Srinagar, Shabbir Ahmad Shah appealed all pro-movement groups and leaders to get united under the banner of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. He lauded Pakistan's all support to this great cause of Kashmir.
On the other hand, Shabbir Ahmad Shah's appeal was welcomed at a high-level meeting at Hurriyat headquarters, which was presided over by the APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. The APHC leaders maintained that Shabbir Ahmad Shah's joining the APHC would further strengthen Kashmir freedom movement.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Fazal Haq Qureshi and Yasmeen Raja presented on the occasion.
In Islamabad, Kashmiri leaders, Syed Yousaf Naseem and Mahmood Ahmad Saghar expressed their satisfaction over the decision of Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Shaikh Abdul Aziz to join the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
