The government has declared January 19, 20 (Saturday, Sunday) as public holiday on account of Ashura Muharram. A notification issued here said that in pursuance of the announcement of the Ruet-e-Hilal committee.
It is notified for public information that January 19 and 20, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) being 9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Harram will be closed day on the occasion of Ashura.
