Singapore bunker prices fell on Friday, but its differential to fuel oil cargo values stayed firm at near-parity levels for a fourth day. Prices for the 380-centistoke (cst) grade were $3.00 lower at $452-$454 a tonne, with its discount at 15 cents, narrowing by 20 cents from day-ago.
"The market is quieter today as most sellers are cautiously holding on to high offer levels. They cannot afford to sell aggressively in a falling market due to their month-average pricing mechanism," said a Singapore-based supplier said.
