Vessel carrying 2500 megawatts of LPG due on January 24

A vessel carrying 2500 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will reach Karachi port on January 24, 2008, market sources said here Tuesday. Chairman LPG Distributors Association Pakistan Abdul Hadi Khan while welcoming the import of LPG, said that it will improve supply position and help in resolving the shortage of poor men's fuel.
He said that a leading LPG producing and marketing company JJVL has imported this fuel. Earlier, the vessel was scheduled to arrive on January 22, 2008, but it will now reach Karachi on January 24, 2008, he added.
