Cold, dry weather forecast for next five days

Meteorological Department forecast dry weather with cold wave conditions and ground frost formation expected in Punjab including Islamabad for next five days.
According to Met office, a shallow westerly trough is affecting the Kashmir adjoining hilly areas, whereas cold continental air likely to remain over the most parts of the country for next 5 days. In NWFP, Kashmir, Northern Areas including earthquake affected areas, cold dry weather expected in most parts for next few days.
However, isolated rain snowfall over hills expected in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during the next 36 hours. In Sindh, mainly dry weather with cold wave conditions and ground frost formation is expected for next 5 days.
While dry weather with severe cold wave conditions is expected in most parts of Balochistan for next five days. The minimum temperature recorded in main cities was: Islamabad -2.5 (C), Rawalpindi -2.0, Lahore -2.2, Multan 0.3, Karachi 6.0, Quetta -7.5, Peshawar -1.0 and Muzaffarabad -0.8. The lowest minimum temperature recorded in Skardu was -10.2 (c).
