The Lahore High Court (LHC) issued notices to regional director (RD) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and others in a contempt petition filed by the senior control officer Lahore airport Ehsanul Haq. The court directed the respondents to submit their replies by February 9.
The petitioner contended that he was on leave after issuance of stay order by the court but respondents cut his 56 days salary and refused to pay the same illegally. He contended that the respondent had taken this action only to victimise him for approaching the court of law against their illegal action. He prayed to the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the respondents.
