Attestation parade of Ordnance Corps recruits held

A simple but impressive attestation parade of Ordnance Corps recruits was held at Ordnance Centre, Malir Cant, on Wednesday morning, an ISPR press release stated here on Wednesday. Colonel Commandant of Ordnance Corps, Major General Aftab Ahmed, was the chief guest on the occasion.
While congratulating the passing out recruits on successful completion of their training tenure, Major General Aftab Ahmed dilated upon the need of continuous quest of seeking latest technology and mastery over standing operating procedure, which has been a hallmark of Pakistan Army over the years. He also lauded the hard work put in by faculty staff, which was reflected in the high standards of drill.
Major General Aftab Ahmed also gave away prizes to the outstanding recruits. Recruit Muhammad Ramzan was awarded Ordnance Centre Commandant Medal on outstanding performance during the training, while Recruit Muhammad Sajjad was awarded Director General Ordnance Services Medal.
Recruit Muhammad Amir received Colonel Commandant Ordnance Corps Medal. Recruit Muhammad Yasin received Chief of Logistic Staff Cane. A large number of senior Army officers, junior commissioned officers and Jawans attended the ceremony.
