Several wheat futures contracts on the Chicago Board of Trade and the Kansas City Board of Trade fell the daily limit of 30 cents per bushel late on Wednesday on concerns about a recession, traders said. Limit declines in CBOT corn and soyabeans added to bearish sentiment.
As of 12:53 pm CST (1853 GMT), CBOT March wheat was down 26-1/2 cents at $9.07-1/2 per bushel, and the May, July and December contracts had fallen the limit.
