The US Agriculture Department's Commodity Credit Corp announced the following world market prices of milled and rough rice. The data is adjusted for US milling yields and location, and the resulting marketing loan gain (MLG) and loan deficiency payment (LDP) rates applicable to the 2007 crop.
Rough rice prices increased 36 cents per cwt for long and short grain and 35 cents per cwt for medium grain. The next price announcement is scheduled for January 30.
