Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari has condemned the armed attack on the PPP workers rally in Sialkot in which 12 workers were injured. In a press statement, Zardari said that firing on the PPP rally was a terrorist act and the administration should initiate action against the culprits.
He said that PPP had the strength and people's power to protect its workers and warned the perpetrators of the attack to desist from such acts and should be sure that they would never go scot-free.
Zardari said that PPP workers had braved the martial laws and dictatorial forces thus they would also face the offshoots of these evil forces.
He paid tributes to the PPP workers from Punjab for putting up stiff resistance against the forces of darkness and carrying on the struggle of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto despite hostile environment created by the dictatorial forces and their agents.
