Telenor Pakistan has launched the softswitch solution from Nokia Siemens Networks, bringing more flexibility and efficiency to its network along with the capability for offering high end services to its customers.
Nokia Siemens Networks has successfully introduced the Release 4 softswitch to evolve the Telenor Pakistan network and provide greater abilities in meeting the mobile volume demand.
This will allow Telenor Pakistan to reduce its operating expenditure; as calls will not need to be carried back to central locations and can be handed over to the other operator networks remotely, resulting in substantial savings on leased circuits.
