Ranjha for simplified society rules

The Chairman of Senate's Law, Justice, and Human Rights & Parliamentary Affairs Committee, Senator, Dr Khalid Ranjha has stressed to regulate the affairs of the housing societies in Islamabad in accordance with law.
In a meeting held on Saturday at the Parliament House he said that housing society laws must be implemented in letter and spirit that should ensure the interest of the members of these societies.
"While it is necessary to punish the wrong doers, we should help the housing societies that are working hard for the benefit of their members", Ranjha said.
The meeting also discussed that the Pak PWD society will have elections of new office bearers on February 12. A three-member committee comprising Kamran Murtaza, Gulshan Saeed and Kalsoom Parveen has been formed to supervise the process.
Ranjha, while discussing the society affairs with the members appreciated the sub-committees of the society for performing remarkably to ensure transparency and efficiency in the development work of housing societies in the capital city and urged to simplify society rules for the members.
Chaudhry Muhammad Anwar Bhinder, Abdul Razak, A Thahim, Farooq Hamid Naek, Kamran Murtaza, Gulshan Saeed, Muhammad Enver Baig, Rukhsana Zuberi and Kalsoom Parveen also attended the meeting.
