A Lahore High Court full bench has told the Baha-ud-Din Zikria University to present its record on February 7 following a petition challenging the BA degree of a former member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA). Former MPA Mian Khalid Mehmood is contesting the elections from PP-167 in Sheikhupura.
Petitioner, Chuadhry Ghulam Nabi claims the former MPA was already barred from sitting for any examination in 2005 and that a returning officer had accepted his nomination papers despite a fake degree.
