Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Monday cancelled operation of all its Quetta-bound flights due to inclement weather in the provincial capital, PIA officials told here APP.
They said six flights were cancelled as follows: Pk-323 Lahore-Quetta-Lahore, Pk-363 Islamabad-Quetta, Pk-352 Karachi-Quetta and Pk-322 Quetta-Lahore, Pk-363 Quetta-Karachi and Pk-352 Quetta-Islamabad.
The city has received snowfall while its hilly areas have received heavy snowfall following which intense cold and howling winds have hit the city and surroundings.
