Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro, on the recommendation of the Commission on Damage Assessment, on Thursday approved a compensation of Rs.300,000 each for the heirs of 43 innocent persons who lost their lives during disturbances in Sindh during December 27 to 31.
In a directive issued by the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the Sindh government has been asked to ensure that the entire process of payment of compensation is completed within one week.
