President Pervez Musharraf has expressed sympathies with Chinese government on the loss due to snowstorms and inclement weather. President Musharraf in his message to President of People's Republic of China Hu Jintao said.
"I wish to convey on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf sentiments of sympathy and total solidarity with the government and people of China who have been severely affected by snowstorms and inclement weather that has hit many regions of China."
He said the resolute manner in which the Chinese government have acted to provide relief and restore services is both inspiring and commendable. President Musharraf said, "Our thoughts and sincere good wishes are with our Chinese friends who will undoubtedly overcome the effects of this natural calamity." He said the people of Pakistan wish their Chinese brothers every happiness and success for the approaching Chinese New Year and Spring Festival.
