The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) No 1 here on Saturday extended for 10 days physical remand of two suspects arrested by police in connection with the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. The Judge of the ATC No 1 Chaudhry Habib-ur-Rehman, on the request of police, extended the remand for further investigation.
The police requested the extension upon the expiry of the 10 day remand granted previously. The two suspects, Aitezaz Shah and Sherzaman, were produced before the court here amid tight security by the elite police force.
