APDM has said that election will not resolve the problems. Addressing a public meeting here on Saturday, Qazi Hussain Ahmed said the future Assembly will be helpless and all the powers would rest with the President Musharraf. The meeting was organised by APDM and also addressed by Imran Khan and Liaquat Baloch.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said the country is in the grip of crisis and the labours have no means to buy any thing to eat. He asked the leaders to visit the houses of labours and themselves see how they are spending their lives.
He said the price hike compelled the women folk to work and run the house and the people are thinking how to educate the children. Parents stop their children to go to schools in the present situation.
He said a small group of elites has kidnapped the entire nation. "The February 18 elections are mere a fraud and can't resolve the crisis and emphasised on the enforcement of Sharia Law," Qazi said.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said President Musharraf sacked sixty judges in one stroke and formed his own caretaker government, Election Commission, Supreme Court and even the constitution to protect his rule. He said in the wake of fraud election, the government will not be strong and all the powers will rest with the President.
