Singapore bunker prices fell on Friday, while its differential to fuel oil cargo values remained in deep discounts for a seventh-straight session as suppliers struggled to minimise losses for their January cargoes. Prices for the 380-centistoke (cst) grade were $11.00 lower at $444-$446 a tonne, with its differential at a discount of $5.75, down 40 cents.
"The Great Singapore bunker Sale continues. Suppliers are already in the red for January, it's just a damage limitation exercise now," said a Singapore-based supplier.
