Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said the most important point in Kashmir issue is that we should first talk about the rights of Kashmiris.
Shujaat, in his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, said till the freedom of Kashmiris, the peace process will not be completed and the PML-Q after getting power will re-start the process from the same point as was started by President Pervez Musharraf.
He said the President has started taking practical measures instead of talking about traditional steps. "We should not hesitate to take decisions, which are apparently might not be considered as popular decisions", he said. He said the Kashmir issue is not an issue of any single party instead it is a collective problem and leaders of all the political parties should unite on a single platform and raise the issue besides extending full moral and political support to the Kashmiris.
Shujaat said the economic and political relations between India and Pakistan depend on the solution to Kashmir issue. He said: "Instead of raising voice for the occupation of Kashmir, we should first raise the issue of usurping of the rights of Kashmiris, besides supporting their just struggle. The sacrifices of Kashmiris are more than any other loss."
