Argentina keen to enhance bilateral trade with Pakistan

Ambassador of Argentina in Pakistan Rodalpho Martin Saravia called on President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Ijaz Abbasi here on Thursday and discussed proposals to increase bilateral trade. The Ambassador said that Pakistan could export cotton, textile products, surgical and sports goods to Argentina as these Pakistani products were very popular there.
He said that Argentina could export ceramics tiles, CNG Kits and latest technology to increase and preserve the agro and dairy products as 60 percent milk production of Pakistan was wasted due to lack of technology.
He said that Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Argentine Chambers of Commerce would sign an agreement for increasing bilateral trade and flow of information between the private sectors of the two countries. He invited members of Islamabad Chamber to visit Argentina to explore the market potential to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.
He said that he had been stationed in Pakistan for the past three-and-half years and found the Pakistani people as marvellous and talented. He said Pakistan was a safe place for foreign investment and Pakistanis were best host in the world.
