Cold wave to continue for next few days

The Meteorological Department has forecast that presently westerly weather system is likely to persist over Kashmir and adjoining areas for next 24 hours and continental air is likely to prevail over other parts of the country, causing severe cold wave conditions in most parts of the country for next few days.
The department issued following "weather outlook for Pakistan" here on Thursday.
Islamabad and Punjab: Dry weather, cold wave conditions and ground frost formation over most parts of the province are expected for next few days. Kashmir, Northern Areas (including earthquake affected areas):
Isolated Rains/Snowfall expected in above mentioned areas during next 24 hours and subside thereafter.
NWFP: Dry weather, cold wave conditions and ground frost formation over most parts of the province are expected for next few days. While present weather system is likely to dissipate over niht.
BALOCHISTAN: Dry weather, cold wave conditions and ground frost formation over most parts of the province are expected for next few days.
SINDH: Dry weather, cold wave conditions and ground frost formation is likely to persist for next few days.
