CIA police Cantt division have arrested three drug traffickers and seized 15 KG chars worth lakh of rupees from them. These drug pushers were arrested by a special team constituted on the direction of SP CIA Chaudhry Masood Aziz comprising DSP CIA Cantt and other officials on a tip-off when they were smuggling chars in car No LXD-4696 from tribal area to Lahore.
The culprits confessed during preliminary interrogation that they are involved in smuggling of narcotics for a long time and supplying it in Lahore besides other parts of the province.
A case has been registered against them in police station Sattokatla and further investigation is in progress. The arrested were identified as Saud Jaan, Muhammad Akram and Muhammad Nazir. Capital City Police Officer, Additional IG Malik Muhammad Iqbal has announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the raiding police team.
