Bomb scare at Karachi Club

A bomb scare created panic at Karachi Club situated at Muhammad Bin Qasim road near Sindh chief minister's house on Saturday night. Artillery Maidan police said a caller informed the staff at club at 8pm that a bomb had been planted somewhere in the building. This caused unrest and scare among visitors and the staff.
Police officials and ambulances rushed there. A team of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was also called, which got the premises vacated and started a search to find out the bomb. After hectic efforts of over two hours the BDS team cleared the building from any such device, police said, adding it was a hoax call.
