BRIndex30 loses 47.61 points

On Monday, the BRIndex30 opened in the green zone, at 15,339.67, but soon went to the negative zone and remained in red for the rest of the trading time, closing at 15,270.94 with a negative change of -47.61 points and percentage change of -0.31.
It experienced intra-day high of 15,382.67 and low of 15,183.18. The volume amounted to 55,027,500 shares, which was 39.27 percent of market total and 71.10 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 140,109,680 and 77,389,380 shares, respectively.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 5,766.99 with a net negative change of -48.86 points and percentage change of -0.84. The turnover for this sector was 26,862,700 shares. BR Tech. & Comm. Index was the second most active sector. It closed at 1,548.08 with a net downward change of -1.13 points and percentage change of -0.07. The volume of this sector was 11,999,100 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 2,399.44 with a net positive change of 0.58 points and percentage change of 0.02. The volume was 7,585,600 shares. BR Cement Index closed at 1,581.56 with a net negative change of -16.52 points and percentage change of -1.03. Its volume was 5,833,400 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,469.02 with an upward change of 5.1 points and percentage change of 0.35. The turnover for this sector was 2,907,500 shares, which was lowest among BR Indices.
