Equities showed healthy signs at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday where fresh buying spree in hot favourite moved the entire ready board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 5.00 points from 2,896.62 to 2,901.62 points.
Turnover amounted to 2,568,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,815,200 shares. The horizon of trade expanded from 133 stocks to 144 companies. Majority of stocks (107) closed in positive territory, 36 landed in minus column, whereas one company remained pegged to last week's levels.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 951,000 shares. The turnover of Arif Habib Securities 279,500 shares. The volume of Attock Refinery was 259,400 shares.
