UBL selects SunGard for banking and customer service management

UBL, one of Pakistan's largest private commercial banks, has chosen SunGard's System Access solution to help it centralise its core banking operations. UBL has more than 1,060 branches in Pakistan, as well as international operations across the Middle East, Europe and the US.
It also has plants to increase this network and grow its international business into new regions. Atif R. Bokhari, president and chief executive officer at UBL, commented: "The banking industry, both domestically and internationally, is becoming for more competitive.
