44 outlaws held

During an anti-crime campaign in the Punjab metropolis Ravi Town division police have claimed arresting 44 criminals in a midnight operation and seized a cache of unlicensed arms.
According to the official sources the crackdown followed an order issued by Additional IG Malik Muhammad Iqbal, adding that the midnight operation, launched between February 11 and 12, targeted outlaws, included seven wanted for crimes. The police found 30 pistols and revolvers, five pump actions, rifles, guns and 138 rounds of ammunition from their possession.
