The Pakistan Workers' Federation on Thursday took out a procession of industrial workers in Gujranwala to protest against the rising prices of commodities and unemployment. A press release issued on Thursday said the procession started from Bakhtiar Labour Hall, Gujranwala and ended at GT Road.
The protestors were carrying banners and chanting slogans to press their demand.
The president and general secretary of the federation spearheaded the procession and while addressing the participants, urged the government to fix the prices of daily commodities at a reasonable rate. Further, they asked the government to make the hoarders and profiteers accountable for the crime.
