The Punjab University has decided to give the financial benefits of BPS-19 to four more lecturers with 10-year or more service. It has issued a notification saying those lecturers getting BPS-19 benefits included Muhammad Afzal of the Economics Department, Syeda Mehnaz Naqvi of the Social Work Department, Mahboob Hussain of the History Department and Muhammad Ramzan of the Hailey College of Commerce.
The university earlier promoted 31 lecturers with 10 years or more service or those lecturers who had completed their PhDs and probation period.
