Electioneering for tomorrow's polls comes to an end

The electioneering for the February 18 polls came to an end on Saturday midnight after the political workers withdrew themselves from respective election offices for a peaceful sleep after over a month's hectic campaign for their parties and party affiliates.
The city was calm and only the fluttering flags of political parties were rustling in the silence of the night. Only a few political workers could be seen guarding the portraits of their leaders and huge party flags, still hanging on walls and at the facades of residential buildings, to protect them from the attacks of opposing political groups.
