Voters to face transport problem on February 18

Most of the voters in Karachi city will face a problem of transport from their homes to the polling stations in the city on polling day, February 18. While considerable number of vehicles have been requisitioned by the government for election duty.
The number of public transport booked by the different political parties and their candidates in the general elections have got the buses and wagons parked at safe places late tonight so that these do not get requisitioned by the police for election duty.
It is gathered that some fifteen thousand motor rickshaws have also been booked by the different political parties and candidates for polling day. The rate for polling day hire of motorcycles and rickshaws is reportedly Rs one thousand and Rs three thousand respectively for the day while petrol will be at the expense of the persons who hire the transport.
