MQM candidate, four policemen hurt in Quetta

A candidate of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), five workers and four policemen were injured when some unknown miscreants hurled hand-grenades at office of the MQM and four polling stations in various parts of the provincial capital on Sunday evening, police sources told APP.
MQM candidate for NA-259 Quetta, Abdul Ghani along with his five workers sustained injuries. Four policemen were hurt in another incident when some unknown culprits hurled a hand-grenade on a polling station set up in basic health unit on Sariab Road in suburb of the provincial capital. Three hand-grenades were thrown at other polling stations shed in Killi Ismail High School in the city, Model High School in Turbat, and Government School in Surab, respectively. Buildings of the schools were damaged, but no casualty was reported.
Meanwhile, an explosive device planted near medical store, which went off in tehsil Zehri of Khuzdar district. The store was badly damaged, but no one was hurt.
